Construction fleet vehicles operate in the least forgiving environment of any vehicle class. Material loading damages bodies, job sites damage everything below the beltline, and the cycling of a dump body puts fatigue into its mounting structure continuously.

Hinge and pivot damage on dump bodies is the finding that most often takes a unit out of service unexpectedly, and it develops gradually enough to be caught during a scheduled inspection.

Racks and tie-down points fail because loads get secured to whatever is convenient rather than to rated anchors. Rebuilding those properly, tied into structure, is a large part of what we do for contractor fleets.
