Collision and Structural Repair
Structural Welding and Fabrication
Symptoms
Signs you need this work
- Cracked weld at a mount or bracket
- Equipment mount that has torn loose from the frame
- Cross member separation
- A custom mount needed for new equipment
Certified work on load-bearing components
Welding on a structural component is not the same job as welding a bracket. The joint has to carry load in service, under vibration, through temperature cycles, for years. A weld that looks fine and fails in eighteen months is worse than no repair at all because it fails somewhere unexpected.
All structural welding here is performed in-shop by certified technicians, with joint preparation, filler selection, and reinforcement matched to the base material and the actual service load.
- Frame rail and cross member welding
- Crack repair with drilled stop holes and reinforcement
- Equipment and body mount fabrication
- Subframe repair and reinforcement
- Custom bracket and mount fabrication
- Steel and aluminum structural work
Fabrication for equipment installs
A lot of our welding work is not repair at all. It is building the mount that lets a piece of equipment attach to a chassis it was not originally designed for. Toolboxes, cranes, generators, tanks, racks, and specialty bodies all need mounting that carries the load into the frame correctly.
Getting that wrong is how a frame develops cracks radiating from a mount hole two years later. We design the mount to spread load into the rail rather than concentrating it at a point.
