Inspections, ADAS Scan and Damage Documentation

Post-Collision Structural Inspection

A post-collision inspection verifies that structural repair has restored the vehicle to specification: measurement against factory geometry, weld and joint inspection, ADAS calibration verification, and a documented sign-off before the vehicle returns to service.

Verify before it goes back in service

A structural repair that has not been verified is an assumption. Post-repair measurement confirms the geometry actually came back to specification rather than close to it.

The inspection also covers joint and weld quality, seal function, ADAS calibration status, and operation of everything that was disturbed during the repair. It is the last chance to catch something before a driver finds it.

  • Post-repair structural measurement against specification
  • Weld and joint inspection
  • Seal and water intrusion check
  • ADAS calibration verification
  • Operation check of all disturbed systems
  • Documented sign-off for the repair file

Commercial damage varies widely, so this is a range rather than a quote. The number for your vehicle comes from assessing the actual damage.

Collision estimates for insurance claim walk-ins carry no charge. Systems estimates are $150 and diagnostics are $285 per hour, both credited against an authorized repair.

FAQ

Post-Collision Structural Inspection questions

Is this included in a collision repair?
Verification is part of how we complete a structural repair. It is listed separately here because it is also available on work done elsewhere.
Can you inspect a repair another shop did?
Yes. Second-opinion inspection on a repair you are not confident in is a legitimate reason to bring a vehicle in, and the measurement record is objective.
What if the inspection finds a problem?
You get the documented findings. What you do with them, whether that is going back to the original shop or having us correct it, is your call and we will give you a straight assessment either way.
