Roof, Seal and Water Intrusion

Water Damage and Structural Restoration

Water damage restoration removes material that has rotted or corroded from prolonged moisture, repairs the framing and floor structure underneath, and rebuilds the affected area after sealing the water entry point that caused it.

Symptoms

Signs you need this work

  • Soft spots in the floor, particularly near walls
  • Staining or mold on interior surfaces
  • Musty smell inside the body
  • Panels delaminating or bulging
  • Fasteners pulling loose from softened structure

Source first, then structure

There is no point rebuilding a rotted floor edge while the seam above it is still leaking. Every water damage job starts by finding and sealing the entry point.

Then the affected material comes out. Wet insulation, rotted decking, corroded framing, and delaminated panel all get removed rather than dried and reused, because none of them recover their properties.

  • Leak source tracing and sealing
  • Extent mapping by sounding and probing
  • Removal of rotted, corroded and delaminated material
  • Framing and floor structure repair
  • Insulation replacement
  • Panel and interior rebuild and refinishing

FAQ

Water Damage and Structural Restoration questions

Can wet material be dried instead of replaced?
Not reliably. Rotted wood does not recover, corroded steel has already lost section, and wet closed cell insulation holds the water. Replacement is what lasts.
How do I know how far the damage goes?
Sounding and probing map it. It is almost always larger than what is visible, because water travels along structure well past the point where it shows.
Is it worth repairing on an older unit?
It depends on remaining service life and the extent. We will scope it honestly and tell you when the repair is approaching the value of the unit.
