Roof, Seal and Water Intrusion
Roof Membrane Replacement
The deck underneath is the real job
Once a membrane has failed and water has been getting in for a while, the decking and framing underneath are usually compromised. Installing a new membrane over soft decking wastes the membrane.
We strip the old covering, assess and repair the deck and bows, then install the new membrane. That sequence is why the quote sometimes grows after the roof is opened, and it is why we assess before committing to a number where we can.
- Old membrane removal and disposal
- Deck and bow inspection and repair
- Insulation replacement where wet
- New membrane installation in the specified material
- Penetration flashing and perimeter termination
- Vent, hatch and accessory reinstallation and sealing
