Box, Cargo Body and Reefer Repair
Reefer Skin and Liner Repair
Symptoms
Signs you need this work
- Reefer unit running longer to hold set point
- Frost or condensation forming on an interior wall area
- Visible damage or delamination on an insulated panel
- Interior liner cracked or pulled away
Repairing the thermal barrier, not just the skin
An insulated panel is a sandwich: outer skin, foam core, inner liner. Damage that crushes or wets the foam destroys the insulation value in that area permanently, and skinning over it hides the problem without fixing it.
We remove the damaged core, install new insulation, and restore both skins with a sealed perimeter. The tell that a previous repair skipped this is condensation forming on the interior wall in exactly that spot.
- Damaged foam core removal and replacement
- Outer skin sectioning and sealing
- Interior liner repair or replacement
- Vapor barrier restoration at the repair perimeter
- Door seal inspection and replacement
