# Refrigerated Trucks and Reefer Bodies Repair

Refrigerated body work restores insulated panels, door seals, and the thermal envelope on reefer trucks and trailers. Repair addresses the foam core and vapor barrier rather than only the outer skin, because a skin-only repair leaves a thermal bridge.

On a refrigerated body, damage is not cosmetic. Every compromised panel is a thermal leak, and in an Orange County summer the reefer unit runs continuously trying to compensate, which costs fuel and shortens unit life.

The failure we correct most often is a previous repair that skinned over crushed or wet insulation. The tell is condensation forming on the interior wall in one specific area, and the fix is opening it up and replacing the core.

Door seals are the cheapest and most neglected item on any reefer. They are inexpensive to replace and they pay for themselves quickly in reduced runtime.
