# Construction and Contractor Fleet Repair

Construction fleet work covers dump bodies, contractor bodies, equipment transport decks, and the body and structural repair that job-site conditions generate, along with the tie-down and rack systems these vehicles depend on.

Construction fleet vehicles operate in the least forgiving environment of any vehicle class. Material loading damages bodies, job sites damage everything below the beltline, and the cycling of a dump body puts fatigue into its mounting structure continuously.

Hinge and pivot damage on dump bodies is the finding that most often takes a unit out of service unexpectedly, and it develops gradually enough to be caught during a scheduled inspection.

Racks and tie-down points fail because loads get secured to whatever is convenient rather than to rated anchors. Rebuilding those properly, tied into structure, is a large part of what we do for contractor fleets.
