# Box Trucks and Straight Trucks Repair

Box truck repair covers the cab, the cargo body, and the structure joining them. On a straight truck the body is a separate assembly bolted to the chassis, so damage to one frequently affects the other, and repair has to address both rather than the visible half.

The box truck is the workhorse of Irvine's distribution and last-mile operations, and it takes damage in a very predictable pattern. Loading docks account for most of it: rear corner posts, door frames, and the bottom edge of the body absorb impacts every working week.

The failure that costs the most is the quiet one. A roof seam or a forklift puncture lets water into the body, it runs to the floor edge, and eighteen months later the decking is soft and the crossmembers underneath are corroding. Caught at the seam it is a resealing job. Caught at the floor it is a structural one.

We repair the cab and the body as one vehicle, which matters because a hit to the front of the body often moves the cab mounts as well, and correcting one without the other leaves you with doors that will not seal.
