# E-Track and Tie-Down Installation

Tie-down installation fits E-track, D-rings, stake pockets, and load securing hardware to trailer and truck decks, mounted into structure so the anchor point is rated rather than decorative.

Range: $250 to $2,500

Collision estimates for insurance claim walk-ins carry no charge. Systems estimates are $150 and diagnostics are $285 per hour, both credited against an authorized repair.

## Anchors have to be in structure

A D-ring bolted through decking alone will pull out under a real load. Anchor points have to tie into the crossmembers or the frame, with backing plates where the fastener passes through deck material.

Layout matters too. Anchors placed where the load actually sits are useful, and anchors placed for installation convenience are not.

- Horizontal and vertical E-track installation
- Recessed and surface D-ring mounting
- Stake pocket and rub rail installation
- Structural backing at every anchor point
- Layout planned around the actual load pattern

## Questions

**How many anchor points do I need?**

It depends on the load weight and how it distributes. We will lay out anchors so the securing pattern works for what you actually haul rather than to a generic spacing.

**Can E-track be added to an existing trailer?**

Yes, and it is a common retrofit. Mounting into structure is the part that matters.

**Recessed or surface mount?**

Recessed keeps the deck clear for forklift and pallet movement. Surface mount is cheaper and easier to add. It depends on how the trailer gets loaded.
