# Hitch and Towing Equipment Installation

Hitch installation fits receiver, pintle, and gooseneck towing equipment with frame mounting rated for the intended tow load, plus the wiring and connector needed for trailer lighting and electric brakes.

Range: $500 to $3,500

Collision estimates for insurance claim walk-ins carry no charge. Systems estimates are $150 and diagnostics are $285 per hour, both credited against an authorized repair.


## Rated for the actual load

A hitch is only as good as its mounting and only as useful as its rating. We fit equipment rated for the load you actually tow, mounted into the frame rather than into a bumper or a crossmember that was not designed for it.

Wiring comes with it: a seven-way connector, brake controller supply, and the circuit protection to go with them.

## Questions

**Can you install a gooseneck in a service body truck?**

Usually yes. It involves cutting a deck access and mounting into the frame, and the layout has to work around the existing body.

**Do you install brake controllers?**

Yes, along with the supply wiring and the connector.

**How do I know what rating I need?**

Tell us the heaviest trailer and load you will pull and we will size it for that with margin, rather than for what you tow on an average day.
