# Mirror and Exterior Trim Replacement

Mirror and trim work replaces damaged mirrors, mirror arms, and exterior trim components. Mirrors are the most frequently damaged item on any wide-bodied fleet vehicle and are a direct safety item rather than a cosmetic one.

Range: $200 to $1,500

Collision estimates for insurance claim walk-ins carry no charge. Systems estimates are $150 and diagnostics are $285 per hour, both credited against an authorized repair.


## Fast, cheap, and safety relevant

A broken or loose mirror on a wide vehicle removes the driver's only view down the side. It is a same-day repair and there is no good reason to run a vehicle without it.

Mirror arms take the actual impact in most cases and bend before the glass breaks, which leaves the mirror in place but pointing at the sky. Arms are replaceable separately.

## Questions

**Can you replace just the glass?**

Often yes, when the head and arm are undamaged. That is the cheapest version of the repair.

Usually same day, subject to part availability for the specific vehicle.
