Entry and cargo door repair addresses cab doors and rear cargo doors: skins, frames, hinges, latches, check straps, and seals, with alignment set so the door closes cleanly and seals evenly.

Collision estimates for insurance claim walk-ins carry no charge. Systems estimates are $150 and diagnostics are $285 per hour, both credited against an authorized repair.


## Alignment before seals

A door that has dropped or a frame that has moved will not seal no matter how good the gasket is. We correct hinge wear and frame geometry first, then fit the seal.

Check straps are worth mentioning because they are cheap and almost always neglected. A failed check strap lets the door swing to its limit, which is how hinges get bent and how doors get damaged in wind.

## Questions

**Why does my door not close properly after a repair?**

Yes. Break-in damage to latches, strikers, and frames is common on service vans and is repairable.

**Do you replace check straps?**

Yes, and it is worth doing whenever the door is apart. It is inexpensive and it prevents hinge damage.
