On large-bodied fleet vehicles these directly reduce the low-speed damage that generates most body repair work. Range: $400 to $2,500 Collision estimates for insurance claim walk-ins carry no charge. Systems estimates are $150 and diagnostics are $285 per hour, both credited against an authorized repair. ## Prevention economics Most fleet body damage happens below ten miles an hour, reversing, in confined spaces. A camera system costs a fraction of the bodywork it prevents over a couple of years, which makes it one of the few upgrades with an obvious payback. Installation quality determines whether it survives.
