# Swing and Barn Door Repair

Swing door service covers hinges, latches, hold-backs, seals, and the door structure itself on barn-style cargo doors. Alignment is the core of the work, because a door that has dropped will not seal regardless of how new the gasket is.

## Alignment first

A dropped door is a hinge problem, a frame problem, or both. Replacing the seal on a door that does not sit square just puts a new gasket in the same gap it could never close.

We correct the hinge and frame geometry first, then address the seal. That order is why the repair holds.

## Questions

**Why does my door leak with a new seal?**

Because the door is not sitting square against the frame. The seal only works under even compression and cannot bridge an uneven gap.

**Can a bent door frame be straightened?**

Usually yes. Frame damage from a dock strike is common and is generally repairable rather than requiring replacement.

**Do you repair reefer doors specifically?**

Yes, and on those the seal integrity matters even more because it is a thermal boundary as well as a weather one.
